We explore what it would mean for your family to consider universities outside the United States. The conversation follows your specific situation, your student's direction, and the questions you may already have.
We cover the real cost differential between US and international options, the structural differences between university systems, and whether the international pathway appears worth pursuing seriously for this family. The session is tailored to what you share in your inquiry form. It is not a presentation. It is a conversation.
The Options Summary, a one-to-two-page written document capturing the pathway models discussed, the considerations most relevant to your family, and a clear recommendation on whether and how to proceed.
A confident answer to the question that brought you here: is the international university path worth exploring seriously for our student?
We begin with two intake questionnaires, completed independently by the student and the parents. Where perspectives align and where they diverge both inform the Fit Conversation.
The Fit Conversation brings the full family together. We apply the Global Fit Method to interpret your specific situation and introduce the university systems and destinations most relevant to this student's profile.
Within two weeks of the Fit Conversation we deliver the Fit Report, a personalized written assessment grounded in the Global Fit Method. It concludes with clear recommendations on which university systems and destinations fit this student and why.
The report is yours to absorb on your own time. If questions arise as you read it, and if you decide to proceed to Tier 3, the first meeting of that engagement will open with a walkthrough of the report.
Clear direction on which university environments fit this student and why, grounded in rigorous, personalized assessment rather than general research or generic advice.
A 60-minute conversation that opens the engagement. We walk through the Fit Report together, confirm the direction your family wants to pursue, and begin calibrating admissions realism for the systems in play. The Kickoff closes with a shared view of what the Pathway Plan will contain.
Two to three weeks after the Kickoff, a second 60-minute working session where we build the portfolio together. Country prioritization, institutional categories, program alignment, and cost modeling are all developed in the conversation, not handed down afterward.
Within two weeks of the Pathway Conversation we deliver the Pathway Plan, the strategic foundation for the application year.
The Plan identifies target countries based on fit, names specific institutions across reach, match, and secure categories, models the full cost against your family's realistic US alternative, and addresses what each country's admissions process actually requires.
60 to 90 days after Plan delivery, a 60-minute follow-up call to address questions that have emerged during execution and calibrate where needed. Families also have direct email access for 60 days following delivery.
Tier 3 is portfolio strategy, not application execution. Latitude College Advisors designs the plan. The family and student execute it. Many families continue working with school counselors or independent advisors for execution support, and they do so with far greater clarity about direction and tradeoffs than they would otherwise have had.
A specific, confident application strategy built on the foundation of the completed Fit Assessment, and the support to execute it without second-guessing the direction.
Our role is to build the most rigorous and honest strategy we can for your specific student and family. Admissions decisions rest with institutions. What we commit to is the quality of our analysis, the honesty of our recommendations, and our availability through the engagement.
When offers arrive, the decision is rarely simple. Different countries, different costs, different academic environments, different career implications.
A 60-minute conversation to work through final admission offers when they arrive, helping you weigh tradeoffs across the choices in front of your student.
Choosing the right university is one decision. Arriving with confidence is another.
After enrollment is confirmed, a structured introduction to logistics and resources in the destination city: housing, banking, healthcare, and the practical landing pieces that ease the first months abroad.
We do not edit essays, manage applications, or compete for the same list of US schools as everyone else.
Our work happens earlier, at the point where the most important question is not which schools to apply to, but whether the path you are on is the right one. Many families continue working with their existing counselors after engaging us, and do so with far greater clarity than they had before.
Families today have access to more information about international universities than ever before. What is often missing is interpretation.
AI tools cannot weigh your family's specific financial realities or navigate the anxiety behind a multi-year decision that will shape your child's future. They have knowledge cutoff dates. They cannot pick up the phone. When we speak with an admissions contact directly, or draw on a student's current firsthand enrollment experience, that sourced confidence is something no algorithm can replicate.
Our role is to provide structured judgment and accountability, helping your family make a decision you can stand behind.
